Testing Electrician – Social Housing

Rate: £250 per day + Van & Fuel Card

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Testing Electrician to join our team working on social housing properties. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants consistent, long-term work with excellent daily rates.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out EICR testing, remedial works, and ensuring all installations meet the latest wiring regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across social housing properties

*

Carry out remedial works and minor installations as required

*

Ensure all work complies with BS7671 standards and company procedures

*

Complete and submit accurate certification and paperwork

*

Work independently, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach

Requirements

*

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation

*

18th Edition qualification

*

City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection

*

Full UK driving licence

*

Experience working within social housing (preferred)

*

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
