About the Role
They are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join the growing team. You’ll play a key role in managing project costs, ensuring value for money, and supporting the delivery of high-quality builds. This is an excellent opportunity to work across diverse and inspiring projects, collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and design teams.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost plans, budgets, and estimates for construction projects.
Manage the measurement, valuation, and certification of works.
Lead procurement activities and negotiate contracts for best value.
Monitor project costs, identify risks, and recommend value-engineering solutions.
Support contract administration and final account settlements.
Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Maintain accurate financial records and produce cost reports.
Key Requirements
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within the construction sector.
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and tendering.
Proficiency with estimating and project management software.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Highly organised, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Able to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
