Hours: Mon – Fri, 08:00AM – 16:30PM
Location: Essex (Romford, Southend and Colchester)
Contract type: Full-time / Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of a refurbishment contractor that's seeking an experienced and skilled Bathroom / Wetroom Fitter. You will be working on domestic contracts for local authorities / councils across the Essex area, ranging from Romford, Southend to Colchester. Experience working within council properties and undertaking bathroom / wetroom fitting is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete bathroom and wetroom fitting – refurbishments / installations from start to finish across residential projects. Ranging from: shower units and baths through to tiling, plastering, boxing-in pipework and finishes.

*

Remove existing bathroom suites and prepare the space for new installations.

*

Ensure that all works meet specification, are completed to a high standard, and are left tidy and professional.

*

Adhere to all health & safety requirements, risk assessments, safe working practices, and keep clean, safe and professional working areas at all times.

Person Specification – What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

*

Proven experience as a Bathroom / Wetroom Fitter within residential properties (experience working in council properties is desirable).

*

Multi-skilled across various trades (plumbing, tiling, carpentry, plastering).

*

Excellent attention to detail, pride in quality and finishing to a high standard.

*

Excellent communication skills and customer-facing confidence.

*

Own tools required.

*

Relevant trade qualification is desirable (NVQ / City and Guilds)
