About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical works on a high-profile commercial project. You’ll be responsible for managing all on-site electrical activities, ensuring installation quality, safety compliance, and timely delivery of works in line with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all electrical works on site, including directly employed electricians and subcontractors
*
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and designs to ensure accurate installation
*
Plan, manage, and monitor progress to meet programme milestones
*
Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of quality and compliance
*
Work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and other trade leads to coordinate site activities
*
Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times – review RAMS, ensure PPE compliance, and promote a safe working environment
*
Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning processes; review documentation and sign-offs
*
Manage snagging, defect resolution, and handover documentation
*
Maintain accurate daily and weekly site reports, labour records, and material usage logs
*
Identify potential risks, delays, and technical issues, escalating where required
Required Qualifications & Experience
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects
*
Proven track record managing electrical installation teams on large-scale sites
*
Valid ECS Gold Card
*
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
*
Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and site procedures
*
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
*
Full UK Driving Licence
