They're seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join their expert team – someone who combines technical skill with a strong understanding of building defects, moisture ingress, and environmental conditions affecting property performance.

You'll have the autonomy to deliver technical surveys, lead remediation strategies, and guide clients with clear, evidence-based recommendations.

Key Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:

Lead and deliver a wide range of building surveying commissions, with a focus on damp, mould, and condensation investigations.
Undertake detailed defect diagnosis, condition, and measured surveys.
Prepare robust technical reports and recommendations for remedial works.
Manage contract administration, specifications, and tender documentation through to project completion.
Advise clients on maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance to ensure long-term building integrity.
Build strong, trusted client relationships through expert guidance and clear communication.
Support and mentor junior surveyors, sharing specialist knowledge and promoting best practice.Requirements:

Degree in Building Surveying (or related field).
Ideally MRICS qualified or working toward chartership.
3-5 years' consultancy experience with a strong grounding in building pathology.
Demonstrable expertise in diagnosing and resolving damp and mould issues.
Excellent communication, reporting, and client engagement skills.
