Your new role
In this role as Site Manager, you will oversee all operational aspects of the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Coordinating and managing site activities, from initial planning to project completion.
- Supervising subcontractors and trades to ensure efficient and effective work processes.
- Conducting regular site inspections to maintain quality control and address any issues promptly.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicating effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and resolve any concerns.
- Managing site documentation and reporting on project progress to the senior management team.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant certifications and tickets associated with being on site, such as CSCS, SMSTS, SSSTS, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar site management role, particularly within new build homes and home extensions.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and trades effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and the project team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.
