Location: Heathrow (Hybrid – approx. 3 days/week on-site)
Start Date: ASAP | Contract Length: 12 months +
Rate: CIRCA £51.33 per hour (£385per day)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35 – Umbrella PAYE
Hours: 37.5 per week
The Role
We're seeking Implementation Managers to join high-profile telecommunications and Security infrastructure enhancement programmes at Heathrow Airport. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on the design, implementation and construction of telecoms infrastructure and connected systems such as passenger displays, access control, CCTV and associated telecommunications cabling infrastructure.
You'll help lead complex infrastructure projects from tender to closeout, working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery to time, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project delivery across a number of sites within the Heathrow estate.
Manage suppliers and ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
Forecast and secure resources to meet future project demands.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate handovers and produce "as built" documentation.
Act as the central point of contact for all construction and installation project coordination.
Define scope and timelines with clients and stakeholders.
Engage with Heathrow Airport departments to ensure full project buy-in.
Create work packs and manage cost/timeline changes.
Ensure work is delivered within construction and installation deadlinesSkills & Experience
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven experience in Construction and installation of Telecommunications, Structured Cabling Data network installation or Security system installation projects.
Knowledge of LAN, wireless, telecommunications & Data cabling, CCTV, and access control systems.
Experience in Construction Project environment, as a Construction Manager, Site Manager or Project Engineer.
Airport experience is highly desirable, but will also consider those with a Railway, Power or MOD background delivering installation of Communications or Security systems on Construction projects
CSCS / SMSTS.
Desirable: Project management or IT systems training.
