About the project

We’re working on a commercial project (e.g. fit out / shell & core / office block / retail centre / mixed use) and need an experienced Ectrical Supervisor to join our team on a commercial school build project. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in managing electrical installations on large-scale commercial or educational developments.

As Electrical Supervisor, you’ll take responsibility for overseeing all on-site electrical works, ensuring the project is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, and within programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all electrical trades and subcontractors on site

*

Review and interpret electrical drawings, designs, and specifications

*

Carry out regular inspections and quality checks on installation works

*

Work closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, and other trade supervisors

*

Enforce site Health & Safety standards: ensure RAMS, PPE, and safe systems of work are followed

*

Review and verify testing, inspection, and commissioning documentation

*

Track progress, identify delays or risks, and report to the project team

*

Support snagging, defect resolution, and handover documentation

*

Maintain accurate daily and weekly site reports, including timesheets and materials usage

Requirements

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial or industrial projects

*

Proven track record supervising electrical works on education, healthcare, or large commercial builds

*

Valid ECS Gold Card

*

SSSTS certification

*

Full UK Driving Licence
