Salary: £70,000-£80,000 & Benefits

Location: Primarily London, occasional UK travel

Role Overview

My client are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Manager to lead projects from preconstruction through to client handover. You'll be part of a well-established team alongside a Quantity Surveyor (QS) and Site Manager (SM), driving high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects across bars, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues.

️ Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership: Oversee Projects up to the value of £15M

Preconstruction & Tendering: Collaborate with the tender team to assemble preconstruction resources and planning

Programme Management: Work closely with the planner to develop and manage project timelines

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all construction phase plans are in place and compliant

Team Coordination: Lead and support QS and SM throughout the project lifecycle

Client Handover: Deliver projects to a high standard, ensuring smooth client transitions

Site Presence: Typically 2 days per week on-site in London; occasional travel to other UK locations

Ideal Candidate Profile

Proven experience in fit-out and refurbishment, ideally within hospitality or retail sectors

Strong understanding of M&E and joinery packages

Comfortable managing construction sub-contractors

Practical mindset with hands-on project experience

Excellent organization, reporting, and leadership from day one

NVQ Level 6 and CSCS Card preferred
