Counter Fraud Investigator

Salary: £51,037 – £60,043.80
Location: London, 3 days in the office per week. Some travel required (expenses covered)

Join a nationally significant infrastructure organisation at the forefront of counter-fraud strategy in construction. You’ll lead complex investigations into bribery, procurement and supply chain fraud — tackling issues such as ghost workers, false claims and misuse of plant. Working within a dynamic, growing team, you’ll help shape a modern counter-fraud function that’s driving change across the sector.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience managing complex counter-fraud or bribery investigations.
Expertise in evidence gathering using open-source data and internal frameworks.
Strong stakeholder management across joint ventures, contractors and internal teams.
Knowledge of government counter-fraud standards and frameworks.
Relevant qualification such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) or Government Counter Fraud Profession membership.
Nice to Have:
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or public sector investigations.
Understanding of commercial or procurement processes (e.g. RICS, QS).
Experience reporting lessons learned or process improvements.
