As part of this continued success, they are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team, overseeing multiple projects from their Colchester base.

The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of several live projects, ensuring each is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. Working closely with project teams, clients, and the senior management group, you’ll oversee site performance, manage programmes and budgets, and provide strong leadership across multiple sites. Responsibilities:
• Oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Lead and support Site Managers and project teams, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Work closely with commercial and design teams to ensure projects remain commercially viable and technically sound.
• Monitor programmes, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Contribute to strategic planning, process improvement, and continuous business development.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a main contracting environment.
• Strong background in residential and/or commercial construction projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop site teams.
• Sound understanding of contract administration, cost control, and programme management.
• Based within a commutable distance of Colchester, with flexibility to travel to sites across the region.

Salary & Package:
• £70,000 – £80,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
