Scaffolding Estimator

We’re seeking a motivated Estimator to take an active role in both live project delivery and the estimating function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing commercial site involvement with tendering and bid preparation.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full commercial lifecycle of multiple scaffolding projects, from award to final account.

Negotiate contract terms and manage commercial risk in line with agreed schedules and scope.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Monitor project progress, resolving any commercial issues and ensuring contractual compliance.

Support contracts managers and site teams to deliver projects on time and to budget.

Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and detailed cost value reconciliations.

Participate in estimating and tendering, producing accurate costings and analysis.

Provide commercial input for bid preparation and tender evaluation.

Forecast project revenue and margins for assigned contracts.

Conduct site visits for valuations and progress reviews as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in Quantity Surveying and/or Estimating.

Understanding of scaffolding systems and associated construction methods (advantageous).

Strong analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost assessment.

Excellent communication and negotiation ability.

Confident user of Microsoft Excel and Office 365.

Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
