Position: Working Qualified Supervisor (Commercial FM Sector)

Location: Kent, London & surrounding areas

Salary: £55,000 – £57,000 (depending on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run electrical contractor that works in partnership with leading FM companies across a variety of commercial sites. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Working Quality Supervisor to oversee and maintain high standards of workmanship across projects.

This is a hands-on role combining quality assurance, compliance, and operational oversight. You'll be responsible for conducting site visits, qualifying works, and ensuring that all installations and remedial works meet regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site visits to inspect and qualify electrical works

Ensure all installations, maintenance, and remedial works meet quality and safety standards

Review and verify documentation including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works Certificates

Support engineers with technical guidance and ensure compliance with regulations

Operate workforce management software via company mobile device

Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service excellence

Assist with onboarding and training of new staff to uphold quality standards

Maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions

Provide feedback and reporting to senior management on quality performance

Occasionally work out-of-hours or away from home as required

Required Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial electrical installations and maintenance

Minimum 3 years' experience in inspection and testing

City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations

Gold ECS Card

Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)

Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS Check

Skills & Attributes

Strong understanding of electrical compliance and certification

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Confident communicator with good interpersonal skills

Able to work independently and manage multiple site visits

Comfortable using mobile-based work management systems

Proactive and solutions-focused approach
