About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a £12m cut and carve project in a super prime London location. This is a fixed-price lump sum contract involving fit out, M&E, groundworks, and demolition within a complex existing structure.

You will join a high-performing team delivering premium fit outs typically ranging from £5m – £25m. This role offers autonomy, responsibility, and exposure to one of London’s most prestigious commercial office schemes.

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of the project from start to completion

Administer and execute amended lump sum contracts

Identify and mitigate building risks in heavy refurb environments

Manage subcontractor procurement and valuations

Ensure financial transparency and accurate reporting to senior stakeholders

Drive cost control and value engineering initiatives

Ideal Candidate

Lead QS experience on at least one major project for 12+ months on site

Strong background in existing structures and heavy refurbishments

Proven ability to manage fixed-price lump sum contracts from a delivery perspective

Excellent risk identification and problem-solving skills

Stable employment history (5–6 year stints preferred)
