Site Manager – High-End Bespoke New Build (Single Dwelling)
Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham
Start Date: January 2026 (demolition commencing shortly)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
An established and design-led residential developer is looking for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a high-end bespoke new build home in Edgbaston, Birmingham. The project will begin with demolition and progress through groundworks, substructure and full build-out to completion.
This is a key role within a growing business that delivers a mixture of luxury new builds and design and build renovation projects. The successful candidate will have end-to-end experience of managing bespoke residential builds, with a strong understanding of quality, detail and client expectations.
The Company
The business operates across two main divisions:
New Build Developments: Typically 6-8 unit schemes aimed at the high-end market, with plans to scale up in size and scope over the coming years.
Design & Build Renovations and Extensions: Large-scale projects for private homeowners, typically from £500k to £1m+, including several full demolitions and rebuilds of entirely bespoke new homes.

The Role
As Site Manager, you'll take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, overseeing all aspects of the build from demolition through to final handover. You'll manage subcontractors, coordinate with the in-house team and external consultants, and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and client satisfaction are maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing site activities, labour and subcontractors to deliver on time and to programme
Ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification
Overseeing quality control and ensuring a premium level of finish throughout
Maintaining strong communication with clients, designers, and project managers
Managing site logistics, materials, and sequencing to ensure smooth project delivery
About You
Proven experience managing bespoke or high-end residential projects from start to finish
Strong technical understanding of all build stages, including groundwork, structure, and fit-out
Excellent organisational and communication skills
A hands-on, detail-focused approach and a genuine pride in delivering exceptional homes
Experience working on single dwellings or small luxury developments preferred
