Concrete Finishers Needed – Wigan (Immediate Start)

Position: Concrete Finishers
Location: Wigan, WN5
Duration: 4 Days (Tuesday 11th – Friday 14th November 2025)
Start Date: Tuesday, 11th November 2025
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Induction at 08:00am on Day 1)

About the Role:
Barker Ross is recruiting skilled Concrete Finishers for a short-term project in Wigan. You will be involved in a variety of precast concrete finishing works, including:

Precast concrete finishing

Minor dock and yard wall repairs

Filling lifter holes

Repairing surface imperfections (chips & cracks)

Working on 8-bay dock with wing walls

You'll be part of a dedicated team carrying out high-quality concrete finishing and repair work on-site. Materials (including K50 repair compound) will be provided on-site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher

Standard PPE required

Ability to work effectively in a team

Willingness to complete site induction on arrival

Positive attitude and good work ethic

Pay Rates:

Pay Rate: £270 – £300 per day (depending on experience)

Additional Information:

Accommodation: £80 per person per night (if applicable)

Travel: To be confirmed if applicable

Materials will be supplied on-site.
