Senior Quantity Surveyor – Edinburgh

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a senior role with a leading main contractor? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Tier 1 construction business delivering high-profile projects. 

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in commercial management and project delivery, working as part of an experienced team and supporting the successful delivery of major developments in the region.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading commercial and contractual management of assigned projects

Managing subcontract procurement, payments and variations

Preparing and reviewing cost reports, forecasts and valuations

Supporting project teams to ensure commercial success

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders

Contributing to continuous improvement and best-practice processes

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience in a Senior QS or strong Project QS role within main contracting

Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction contracts

Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage a busy workload and lead commercial elements of projects

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant discipline
