Job Overview

Involve Recruitment are seeking a motivated and reliable Floor Layer Improver to join a professional flooring team based in Stockton. This role involves supporting an experienced floor layer on projects across the UK, installing a variety of flooring types in domestic and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the preparation and installation of flooring materials (e.g., vinyl, carpet, laminate, safety flooring)

* Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment

* Help with subfloor preparation, adhesive application, and finishing work

* Maintain cleanliness and safety on site

* Travel nationwide with overnight stays as required

* Represent the company professionally on client sites

Requirements

* Previous experience assisting floor layers or in a construction/labouring role

* Willingness to travel and stay away from home during the week

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

* Good work ethic and ability to follow instructions

* CSCS card

* Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious
