Senior Quantity Surveyor – RC Frame, Groundworks & Power Projects | Up to £90k

Salary: Up to £90,000 + package

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to join a dynamic contractor delivering high-value RC frame, groundworks, and power infrastructure projects across London and the South East?

Our client is expanding its commercial team, offering the chance to take ownership of complex, technically challenging projects and play a key role in the continued growth of a respected civil engineering contractor.

The Role

You’ll manage all commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects — from tender to final account — ensuring financial performance, cost control, and compliance with NEC and JCT contracts.
Working closely with senior leadership and site teams, you’ll oversee procurement, valuations, variations, and forecasting, helping deliver high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities

Full commercial management of RC frame, groundworks, and power infrastructure projects

Prepare and negotiate interim valuations, variations, and final accounts

Manage subcontractor procurement and payments

Produce accurate monthly cost reports and forecasts

Support project delivery teams with commercial and contractual guidance

What We’re Looking For

7+ years’ experience as a QS or Senior QS within RC frame, groundworks, or civil engineering

Solid knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

Based within commutable distance of Bishop’s Stortford
