Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join our team on a major large-scale project in Bristol.

Role Overview Reporting to the Project Manager, the Electrical Site Manager will take ownership of all on-site electrical activities — ensuring safe, efficient, and quality delivery in line with programme, budget, and technical requirements.
You’ll be the key interface between the office-based delivery team and the site workforce, coordinating with mechanical, building, and client teams to maintain high standards of performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all electrical site operations from installation through to commissioning.
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and labour to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and design information.
Work closely with the Project Manager and QS to monitor progress, costs, and variations.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure installation meets technical and regulatory requirements.
Manage materials, plant, and equipment deliveries in line with programme.
Lead coordination with the mechanical team and main contractor.
Maintain site documentation, permits, and daily records.
Support commissioning and handover phases, ensuring all documentation and testing are completed. Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor on large-scale building services or construction projects.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems within commercial or infrastructure environments.
Excellent understanding of current regulations and standards (BS7671, IEE Wiring Regulations, etc.).
Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
Good communication and leadership skills, able to drive performance and maintain safety culture.
Ability to read and interpret design and installation drawings.
Competent in using MS Office and project reporting tools. Qualifications
NVQ Level 3 (Electrical Installation) or equivalent.
ECS / JIB Gold Card (desirable).
SSSTS / SMSTS certification.
First Aid at Work.
City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) – advantageous. What We Offer
