Nottingham (Hybrid – 2-3 days office/site)
£50,000-£60,000 + benefits (no car allowance)

I'm currently working with a consultancy who are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join their expanding M&E and Net Zero team at their Nottingham office.

You'll work alongside the Managing Engineer who's building and leading a talented M&E team. With several junior and intermediate engineers in place, they now need a technically strong Senior to take ownership of projects, mentor others, and deliver high-quality mechanical design work.

What you'll do

Lead mechanical design on refurbishment and retrofit projects
Undertake site surveys, assessments and detailed design
Produce designs, specifications and reports using Hevacomp / IES / AutoCAD / Revit
Support and develop junior engineers
Help deliver low-carbon and energy-efficient building solutionsWhat we're looking for

5+ years' post-qualification experience in Building Services Engineering
Strong background in refurbishment and retrofit – essential
Consultancy or contracting background (either is fine)
Confident leading projects and working directly with clients
Degree in Building Services / Mechanical Engineering
Chartered or working towards
