Our client is a regional contractor working across various sectors including education, commercial and residential projects. They are looking for an experienced site manager to run a residential site near Norwich.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
- Liaise with clients and project managers to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Implement and enforce site rules and regulations.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on social housing.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
