Annual Salary: £40,000-£50,000Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Surfacing Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of asphalt/tar surfacing operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

Oversee the daily management of surfacing projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely delivery.
Coordinate resources including workforce, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, site teams, and key stakeholders.
Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards and in accordance with project specifications and company procedures.
Monitor project performance, including cost control, productivity, and programme adherence.
Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
Lead and motivate site teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits, addressing any technical or operational issues promptly.
Provide clear and accurate progress reports to senior management.
Support additional operational tasks as required to meet business objectives.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in a surfacing management role within the asphalt/tar surfacing sector.
In-depth knowledge of surfacing methods, materials, equipment, and site operations.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, NRSWA).
Flexibility required for occasional overtime and weekend work to meet project demandsBenefits:
