Senior Architectural Technician

Location: Kent

Salary: £37-47,000 (dependent on experience)

An established multi-discipline architectural and surveying practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join its Kent team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality architectural and technical design for a range of projects, from residential through to commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of technical drawings, BIM models and construction documentation from concept to completion.
Coordinate and review design outputs to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, building regulations, structural and services information.
Work closely with architects, surveyors, clients and external consultants to develop innovative and practical design solutions.
Mentor and support junior technicians, setting standards for drawing quality and production efficiency.
Assist in the preparation of tender packages, specifications and contract administration where required.
Contribute to sustainable design practices and the adoption of digital workflows across the practice.Candidate Profile

Proven track record as a Senior Architectural Technician within an architectural practice or consultancy, preferably working across multiple sectors.
A strong knowledge of UK building regulations, BIM standards and construction detailing.
Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
Excellent technical drawing and modelling skills, with a high eye for detail and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team and liaising directly with clients.
Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines across several live projects.
