Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000

The role of the Tekla Draughtsperson – Structural Steel will involve:

* Tekla Draughtsperson position dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades

* Producing general arrangement drawings (GA’s) and 3D models from Engineer’s designs

* Liaising with clients, Contractors, Architects and Engineers in order to obtain any required information

* Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings

* Work closely with Production Team and Design Engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication

* Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £2m

The ideal applicant will be Tekla Draughtsperson – Structural Steel with:

* Must have Tekla design / detailing experience

* Must be capable of liaising with internal departments and customers

* IT literate (Microsoft office)

* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
