Senior Site Manager

Tier 1 main contractor requiring two Senior Site Managers to join the project team on a secure government site in Aldermaston due to recent internal movements.

This is a freelance position offering continuity of work through the early part of 2026, with opportunity to be extended. The project involves complex internal refurbishment and infrastructure works, so experience across both Civils and M&E packages is essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to specification

* Manage subcontractors and coordinate Civils and M&E packages

* Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and progress meetings

* Maintain site documentation, quality control, and health & safety standards

* Liaise closely with project and commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery

Requirements

* Proven experience managing major construction or refurbishment projects for a Tier 1 main contractor

* Strong technical understanding of Civils and M&E coordination

* Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications

* British nationals only – due to security clearance requirements

* Available to start within 1 week notice
