We are actively seeking highly-skilled and motivated engineers from a military background for a prestigious Electrical Shift Engineer role.

This is an outstanding opportunity for engineers who are currently serving (and approaching discharge) or have recently left the Royal Navy, Army (REME / Royal Engineers), or the RAF.

This role is based in a state-of-the-art commercial building near Liverpool Street, working a continental shift pattern that provides an excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting all planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.

Carrying out electrical fault-finding and repairs on systems such as power, lighting, emergency lighting, and small-scale installations.

Monitoring the building's critical systems, including UPS, generators, and LV/HV switchgear.

Responding to all building alarms and plant-room issues.

Overseeing and supporting specialist sub-contractors.

Ensuring all work is logged and compliant with strict Health & Safety standards.

The Ideal Candidate

We strongly encourage applications from Service Leavers and Ex-Forces personnel.

Must hold a full electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, BTEC, HNC/HND, or equivalent military technical qualifications).

Demonstrable experience in electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and power distribution.

Experience gained in the Armed Forces (Navy, Army, RAF) is highly desirable.
