The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Contracts Manager to join a respected and well-established main contractor operating across the East Midlands region. This role offers a genuine opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager, or a confident and driven Senior Project Manager looking to step up to take on a wider leadership position, overseeing multiple projects and influencing business performance at a senior level.

With a strong and secure order book stretching into 2026, the company delivers a varied portfolio of schemes across industrial, mixed-use, education, and refurbishment sectors, with project values reaching up to £60m. What You’ll Be Doing

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee up to three live projects across the region, working closely with site teams and project managers to ensure successful delivery across programme, quality, and budget. You’ll act as a key client-facing representative, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met throughout the life of each project.

You will provide strategic oversight, contribute to pre-construction planning, support commercial reporting, and uphold strict health, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires someone confident in leading teams, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement across the projects they oversee.

What We’re Looking For

We’re open to meeting candidates with established Contracts Manager experience, as well as strong Senior Project Managers ready to make the step up. You should have a proven track record within main contracting, Tier 1, 2 or 3, with experience delivering projects up to £20m+.

You’ll be organised, client-focused, and capable of working across multiple sites spanning Nottingham to Leeds. Strong communication, leadership, and programme management skills are essential, along with the ability to confidently represent the company to clients and stakeholders.

A full UK driving licence is required.
