Scheme Project Manager – Rail / Civil Engineering

Glasgow (with projects across Scotland)  –  Full-time, Permanent

Our client, a highly regarded Civil Engineering Contractor based in Glasgow, is seeking a Scheme Project Manager to join their dynamic team. You will play a key role in the Access for All program, overseeing civil structural renewal projects across Scotland’s rail network.

What You’ll Do

Lead Health & Safety management on projects.
Provide strong leadership and guidance to site staff.
Coordinate projects to meet deadlines and client specifications.
Manage project development in line with approved plans & targets.
Implement and manage procurement schedules, productivity trackers, and outputs.
Undertake additional engineering responsibilities as required.
Identify and mitigate project risks.
Drive Value Engineering opportunities through design and development.
Prepare formal project progress reports.
Oversee sub-contractor management.
About You

Proven experience as Project Manager, Senior Engineer, Sub Agent, or Site Manager.
Background in civil engineering, preferably with rail, structural, or heavy civil projects.
Qualified to HNC/HND level or above.
Strong ability to collaborate with clients, designers, and stakeholders.
