Overview
An established, design-led architectural practice in Manchester is seeking a Senior Technologist to join its growing team. With over 80 professionals working across diverse sectors, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, sustainable design solutions.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for coordinating project design and delivery, working collaboratively with clients, contractors, and design teams. This is a hands-on, technically focused position, ideal for someone with strong Revit skills and a deep understanding of construction detailing, building regulations, and BIM processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate project design information and communication with key stakeholders.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documents across all project stages.
Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, CDM, and relevant standards.
Mentor and review the work of junior team members.
Provide technical input, resolve site queries, and ensure design quality through construction.
Attend and lead project meetings, maintaining effective collaboration across teams.
About You
Qualified Architectural Technologist (CIAT chartership or working towards it).
Strong technical design and detailing experience.
Proficient in Revit, with an understanding of BIM workflows.
Knowledge of industrial and/or recladding projects advantageous.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
