The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of multiple education projects across the North West. You will oversee site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will manage the site workforce, subcontractors, and supply chain, driving productivity, safety, and quality throughout the build. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and excellent planning and coordination skills to deliver successful outcomes across all aspects of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations and delivery
Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and progress reviews
Monitor progress against the programme and address issues proactively
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
Liaise closely with commercial, design, and project management teams
Oversee materials, logistics, and resource planning on site
Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout delivery
Maintain accurate site records and reports to support transparency and accountability
Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
