Building Surveying opportunity in Essex working with listed buildings and heritage projects
Your new company
Excellent opportunity to join a small chartered surveying practice in Essex within their Building Surveying team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced surveying professional to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial. You will also be working on listed buildings and heritage projects including ecclesiastical buildings.
Your new role
As the Building Surveyor, you will work within an experienced team and will be responsible for project managing refurbishments and maintenance works which will involve contract administration duties. You will be involved with carrying out building surveys, inspections and dilapidation surveys.
As part of this you will provide advice to clients regarding their projects including advice around feasibility and building regulations. This role is offered with optional APC if you are looking to gain MRICS status, although this isn’t essential. This opportunity is offered with hybrid working.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you should hold a degree in Building Surveying and have proven experience gained within building surveying, property inspection or similar. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role and you should live within commutable distance of Essex.
