They are currently seeking a dedicated Permanent Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This company takes pride in delivering quality residential projects across the region. Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and management of project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and delivered within set parameters.

Support the review and analysis of subcontractor and supplier quotations.

Contribute to cost planning and value engineering initiatives for residential projects.

Track and manage variations, ensuring all changes are properly documented and communicated.

Assist in the procurement process and the timely issue of purchase orders and contracts.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate measurements, valuations, and reporting.

Help prepare and submit interim and final accounts in accordance with project timelines.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the house building sector.

Understanding of cost control, procurement, and contract administration.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Proficient in relevant software such as Asta Powerproject, CostX or equivalent.

A proactive approach and a keen eye for detail.

Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
