Temporary Works Coordinator

Keyman, a specialist white-collar recruitment agency serving the construction and civil engineering sectors, is seeking an experienced Temporary Works Engineer / Coordinator for a major infrastructure project.

This role will suit candidates from a construction or civil engineering background with a strong focus on temporary works, FRC, and structures. A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all aspects of temporary works in accordance with BS 5975:2024.

*

Liaise with stakeholders to ensure safe and effective design, installation, and removal of temporary works.

*

Oversee inspections, approvals, and documentation in line with technical and safety standards.

*

Support site teams and mentor Temporary Works Supervisors and Engineers.

Requirements:

*

Relevant civil engineering experience with temporary works knowledge.

*

Understanding of CDM regulations and construction safety.

*

Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills.

*

Competent in managing design processes and documentation.

Qualifications:

*

Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).

*

CITB TWC (or willing to obtain), SSSTS/SMSTS, and a valid CSCS card.
