Job Title: Fire Stopper / Passive Fire Protection Installer
📍 Location: CM13 (Brentwood and surrounding areas)
💰 Pay: Competitive rates – PAYE or CIS available
🕒 Job Type: Full-time / Subcontractor

About the Role

We are currently looking for experienced Fire Stoppers to join our team working on a variety of commercial and residential projects in the Brentwood (CM13) area and across the South East. The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of passive fire protection to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain fire-stopping systems including batt & mastic, fire curtains, collars, wraps, and penetration seals

*

Read and understand technical drawings and specifications

*

Ensure all work is compliant with FIRAS / IFC or other relevant standards

*

Record installations accurately and complete site paperwork or app-based reporting

*

Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

*

Proven experience in fire stopping / passive fire protection (minimum 1–2 years preferred)

*

Valid CSCS card (essential)

*

NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent (preferred)

*

Full PPE and own tools

*

Driving licence and transport (preferred)

*

Attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance
