Contract Manager

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading building contractor that specialise across many sectors, delivering construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects who are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team.

Their office is based in Ringwood and you will be expected to cover 5 to 6 projects within 1.5 hours of the office.

These projects will involve you working alongside an established Contracts team to oversee projects within the NHS, Local Authorities, and Social Housing sectors.

The salary is up to £80,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus a Company Car and a Fantastic Benefits Package.

You will be reporting directly to the Operations Director

Key Responsibilities required for this position include:

* Supervise and manage contracts, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

* Oversee multiple projects and teams on site, these projects ranging from £250,000 to £5,000,000

* Actively promote Health, Safety and Environmental issue,, ensuring all sites are operated to the highest standards.

* Responsible for projects to achieve safety, quality, programme and commercial targets

* Understand all aspects of the projects before work on site starts

* Promote and retain positive client relationships

Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:

* At least 3 year’s experience working as a Contracts Manager managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.

* Experience and knowledge of building regulations

* Be confident in client interactions and in meetings

* Qualified to degree level or HNC/HND in Construction

* CSCS Card

* Full UK Driving License

* Right to work in the UK
