I’m recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded SME building contractor based in Bristol, known for its exceptional project delivery, strong client relationships, and down-to-earth culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an “epic” regional contractor that’s continuing to expand, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial, education, healthcare, and refurbishment projects across the South West.

🔧 The Role

As Contracts Manager, you’ll oversee the delivery of multiple projects simultaneously – typically ranging between £500k and £10m in value.

You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Commercial staff to ensure smooth project delivery from pre-construction through to handover.

Your role will combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction remain at the heart of every project.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within a main contracting environment

* Strong technical understanding of construction, refurbishment, and D&B delivery

* Ability to lead multiple live projects and mentor site teams

* Excellent communication and client management skills

* Based in or commutable to Bristol / South West region
