An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fire Consultant to join a respected, employee-owned consultancy with a reputation for excellence in fire safety, risk management, and compliance. As a Senior Fire Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering technical fire safety and risk management projects across sectors such as education, healthcare, commercial, residential, and public buildings. You'll be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and surveyors, helping to develop best practice approaches and mentor less experienced colleagues.

Role Responsibilities

Conduct fire safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews across a diverse property portfolio.
Undertake site surveys and desktop reviews, liaising with clients, project teams, and enforcement authorities.
Prepare high-quality reports, action plans, and training materials.
Provide expert advice on fire safety standards, codes of practice, and statutory requirements.
Support and mentor junior consultants, helping to develop technical capability across the team.
Contribute to research, technical discussions, and best practice development within the company.About You

Degree in Construction, Engineering, or Fire Safety (or equivalent).
NEBOSH Fire or Health & Safety qualification (minimum).
Member of IOSH or the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
Minimum 4 years' experience in fire safety consultancy, compliance, or risk management.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites when required.

The Offer

Competitive salaries, dependent on experience £60,000 – 70,000
