A prestigious housing developer based in the West Midlands is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join a new site in Coventry. The successful candidate will be offered a salary of up to £53,000 plus a competitive package.
Job Duties:
Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site
Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople
Manage and monitor site progress
Resolve any issues that may arise on site
Assist in quality control and compliance with building regulations
Communicate effectively with the Site Manager, contractors, and suppliers
Required Qualifications:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
First Aid certification
Valid Driving Licence
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry
Knowledge of timber frame house building techniques
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working for a housing developer
Additional health and safety certifications
Working Conditions:
