Sphere Solutions are working with one of the UK & Ireland’s leading construction companies to recruit a Project Manager for a major data centre project in Newport. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious scheme right here in South Wales.
The Role:
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of the Civil Engineering programme on a large-scale project. You’ll oversee the successful delivery of all Civils packages, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are achieved.
You will be responsible for:

Managing and delivering the Groundworks, Piling, Roads, Fencing, and Landscaping packages.
*
Overseeing subcontractor performance and progress against schedule.
*
Coordinating with design, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery.
*
Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
*
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager / Project Director on all Civils-related activities.
About You:
*
Proven experience as a Project Manager on major Civil Engineering or Construction projects.
*
Strong technical understanding of Groundworks, infrastructure, and external works.
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
*
Ability to drive performance and manage subcontractor teams effectively.
*
Ideally degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
