Are you an experienced Construction Planner seeking a new challenge on one of the most prestigious projects in South Wales? This is a rare opportunity to join a leading main contractor delivering a landmark development in Cardiff city centre.

As Planner, you’ll play a key role within the project team, working closely with the Lead Planner to develop and manage construction programmes on this high-profile scheme. This role offers long-term security and the chance to be part of a major build that will define the region’s skyline.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead Planner in developing and maintaining detailed project programmes.

Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to monitor progress and performance.

Identify potential delays and implement recovery strategies.

*

Prepare regular progress reports and planning documentation.

*

Contribute to short-term planning and lookahead schedules.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Planner within a main contracting environment.

*

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.

*

Proficiency in planning software such as Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.

*

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

*

Ability to work collaboratively within a project delivery team.
