Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a solid background in commercial office fit-out and refurbishment. The successful candidate will be client-facing, responsible for running sites day-to-day, managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and delivery.

This is a site-based role, overseeing projects across the North, so flexibility and travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day running of commercial office fit-out projects (£200k-£5m).
Act as the main site contact for clients, consultants, and project teams.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site labour.
Maintain health and safety standards and ensure all site activities comply with company policy.
Monitor progress, quality, and adherence to programme.
Conduct site meetings and report on project progress to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
Uphold company reputation for quality and professionalism on every project.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial office fit-out / refurbishment.
Experience managing projects between £200k and £5m.
Strong understanding of Cat A and Cat B office environments.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (essential).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North of England.
Ability to deliver projects to tight deadlines and high-quality standards.

Package

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
