Senior Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (+ Car Allowance & Benefits)
A leading independent consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor to work across a wide variety of commercial property assets, gaining direct exposure to clients and contributing to the continued success and direction of the business.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, property professionals, and stakeholders on projects that span acquisition, improvement, and ongoing management of commercial buildings. The role offers significant opportunity for professional growth, business input, and the chance to expand your local and national network within the property industry.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake a broad range of professional and project work, including:
Acquisition and dilapidations surveys and negotiation
Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes
Contract Administration / Project Management
Statutory compliance and technical due diligence
Manage client relationships, ensuring service excellence and alignment with business objectives.
Oversee multiple projects, balancing priorities and maintaining attention to detail.
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and regional offices to deliver joined-up client solutions.
Contribute to business development, supporting the ongoing growth of the regional team.
Qualifications & Experience
MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor (or equivalent level of experience).
Proven track record delivering both professional and project-based building surveying services.
Excellent technical knowledge across commercial property sectors.
Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead relationships independently.
Experience working in a consultancy or client-side environment is preferred.
