Health & Safety Manager – Construction Contractor
Location: Birmingham (covering the West Midlands)
Salary: Up to £56,000 + comprehensive package

Our client is a family-feel construction contractor delivering projects across the West Midlands. They are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to drive performance and culture across a diverse portfolio of live sites.

This is the lead HSEQ role across the company – a brilliant opportunity for a Health & Safety professional to influence leadership, implement best practice, and shape safety delivery for years to come.

The Role

Report directly to the Operations Directors, providing leadership and strategic support on all HSE matters

*

Oversee Health & Safety across multiple projects, ensuring consistent standards and engagement

*

Mentor operational staff and promote a proactive, people-focused safety culture

*

Lead incident investigations, training, and client liaison activities

*

Flexible working with a mix of home and site-based working

About You

*

NEBOSH-qualified (Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred)

*

Proven track record in construction

*

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

*

Pragmatic, people-oriented, and confident managing multiple projects

*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (limited)
