Job Description:
As an A6 Cantilever Tower Technician, you will be responsible for the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of cantilever scaffold systems. You will work alongside a team of professionals to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with safety regulations on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Erect, modify, and dismantle A6 Cantilever Tower systems in accordance with PASMA standards and company procedures.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, especially with regard to working at height.
Carry out risk assessments and follow safe working practices on-site.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control throughout all phases of the scaffolding process.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Inspect scaffolds regularly to ensure safety and compliance.
Provide guidance and training to junior team members as needed.Key Requirements:
PASMA A6 Cantilever Tower Certification is essential.
Proven experience working with cantilever scaffolds or similar scaffolding systems.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations, especially in relation to scaffolding and working at height.
Ability to read and interpret scaffolding plans, blueprints, and drawings.
CSCS card
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward safety and quality.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.Desirable Skills:
Previous experience in a supervisory role or as a team leader.
Additional certifications such as First Aid, Harness Awareness, or Working at Height would be advantageous.
