About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Quality Compliance Engineer to join their growing housing and civil engineering team. The role will focus on ensuring all residential groundwork and infrastructure projects meet NHBC standards, Building Regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.

You’ll be responsible for implementing inspection systems, conducting site audits, and supporting teams to deliver work to the highest technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out quality inspections on residential groundwork sites during early and mid-construction phases.

* Provide technical guidance and advice across multiple regions.

* Ensure all handovers meet NHBC and Building Regulation standards.

* Inspect foundations, drainage, substructures, levels, services, and retaining walls.

* Identify and prevent issues before they impact delivery or cost.

* Feedback findings to Site Managers and Foremen to raise construction quality.

* Liaise with Technical Teams to plan inspections and follow up on remedial actions.

Requirements

* Experience in residential groundworks or housing construction.

* Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and Building Regulations.

* Experience conducting quality checks and providing feedback.

* Excellent communication and organisation skills.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to improving site standards.

* Full UK Driving Licence and valid CSCS card.
