The opportunity

Join a high-performing MEP principal contractor with a strong pipeline of complex projects. You’ll be the go-to AP(LV) on flagship sites—controlling LOTO and power-on, setting the standard for ESSW/BS 7671 compliance, and keeping programmes on track.

Why you’ll want to work here

Delivery at scale on high-profile, power-dense projects with modern kit and processes.

*

Clear gateways, robust ESSW and dedicated engineering support to do the job right first time.

*

People-centred culture with progression into senior T&C leadership and wider regional remit.

What you’ll deliver (testing & AP)

*

Plan, allocate and supervise all LV test activities; manage tester resourcing, access and programme.

*

Set up and maintain the digital test folder and dashboards; ensure results are uploaded within 24 hours and schedules (sub-mains, finals, earthing, modular wiring, ATS) stay live.

*

Verify installations to BS 7671 / GN3 and emergency lighting to BS 5266; complete DB/earth bar checks, inspection reports and snag lists; drive close-out of NCRs.

*

Manage switchgear FAT/SAT, protective-device settings and torque checks; control requests for power and isolations, LOTO, permits and key control; keep schematics and gateway trackers current.

*

Review test results, brief the T&C Manager/PM on out-of-tolerance findings, and coordinate client witnessing and evidence for NICEIC certification; attend commissioning meetings and support handover packs.

*

Provide client/operatives’ training when required; adopt an out-of-hours approach where necessary to protect completion dates.
