My client are seeking a highly experienced Account Manager to oversee a retail account within the high end sector. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven experience managing large-scale customer relationships. Based within commutable distance to Northampton
Hybrid working model: Office based, site visits and working from home.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure smooth project handover: Transition secured orders to the Project Management team, guaranteeing a seamless customer onboarding process. Transfer day-to-day relationship and delivery responsibilities while sharing expertise to help identify and maximize ongoing business opportunities.
Deliver accurate forecasts: Produce detailed, reliable revenue and margin forecasts in line with reporting schedules. Ensure projections are realistic, transparent, and able to withstand scrutiny.
Foster collaboration: Partner with internal teams to build strong, cross-functional relationships. Promote teamwork and ensure the customer's voice and experience are consistently understood and delivered.
Provide market insights: Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to gather and share market intelligence and competitor analysis. Support informed, strategic tendering to secure maximum profitability.
Drive continuous improvement: Work closely with internal departments to develop processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen overall business performance.
Communicate daily with Project Managers to track progress, resolve issues, and align priorities
Liaise with purchasing teams to ensure supply chain efficiency and timely delivery of equipment
Identify opportunities for account growth and support expansion into new markets
Maintain strong customer relationships through regular updates, meetings, and proactive engagement
Candidate Profile
Experience within retail, convenience and installation sector
Experience of new business delivery and account growth.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to plan, organize and maintain relationships with the customer
