Plant Fitter

PSR Solutions are working with a market leading client within the Residential Groundworks Sector to recruit a Plant Fitter to Join their Production team on a permanent basis. This role will cover areas such as; Yorkshire and Derbyshire

Plant Fitter Roles and Responsibilities

Inspection, fault finding, maintenance and repair to reported faults on Company plant.
Reporting on the general condition of faulty plant, including assessment of wear and tear and damage.
Accurate record-keeping and timely submission of completed Job Cards for all repairs and maintenance carried out including equipment serial numbers, time taken, parts and consumables used.
Timely submission of weekly timesheets.
Any other tasks that might reasonably be requested by the Company
Hybrid work split between site and the yardPlant Fitter Requirements

Minimum 3 years post-qualification / post-apprenticeship working as a fitter with groundworks / civil construction or similar heavy duty industrial plant.
Relevant vocational qualification from a registered educational establishment – for example, City & Guilds Level 2 certificate as an Engineering Fitter or Automotive Mechanic.
Full clean UK Driving Licence.Plant Fitter Benefits

Salary – £26,000 – £55,000 DOE
