We are seeking a proactive and experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Construction team within the Bournemouth region. In this role, you will take responsibility for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll play a key part in managing site operations, supporting our supply chain, maintaining compliance with health and safety standards, and ensuring a quality installation as work progresses.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site electrical installations and ensure works meet specification and programme requirements.
Maintain and promote high SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards, ensuring safe systems of work are in place.
Verify and inspect new electrical systems, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and project specifications.
Oversee safe isolation of LV electrical systems and carry out electrical isolations when required.
Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance against programme and quality expectations.
Review supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they are accurate, current, and relevant.
Support commissioning activities and contribute to collaborative planning sessions.
Ensure compliance with CMDP electrical safety rules and act as the Electrical Appointed Person on-site.
Carry out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent installations.
Maintain accurate daily site diaries and oversee completion of project handover documentation.
Manage electrical testing activities, reviewing results in line with guidance note 3 and manufacturer’s literature.
Hold one-to-one meetings with supply chain supervisors to ensure safety processes (Take 5s) are being completed.
Issue limitation of access permits as required. About You

You will be an organised and safety-focused professional with a strong background in electrical installation and site supervision. You take pride in delivering high-quality, compliant installations and have the confidence to lead teams effectively on-site.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

SSSTS or SMSTS
Electrical Appointed Person status
First Aid at Work (FAAW)
ECS Card
C&G 2330 or 2360 in Electrical Installations
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Full UK driving licence Preferred:

2391 Test and Inspect certification
